Archos Dvr station Gen 5

    Alright lads, i just picked up a gen 5 dvr station for my archos 605 which i've hooked up to my amplifier and all's well when playing music. However i'm having trouble with the audio when playing movies/videos...there is none?!? Now it'd hardly be a hardware issue seeing that i get sound from the music side of things through my system, but for the life of me i can't figure out why there's no sound when playing videos. And the sound works through the players speaker/headphones etc.
    Any ideas about options i have to change?

    Bit of an update, i've actually realised that when playing the video the sound is coming through, but very very quietly, despite the volume being on full on both the player and the amp? And the music works just fine, is loud and sounds well. Anyone any ideas?
