    Hi Folks,

    Quick question. I have a 5 month old daughter and i am wondering am i intitled to any type of benifit. I am 27 year old male. Her Mother and i do not live together. If anyone has any info it would be great. Thanks.

    if u are paying maintanence towards the upkeep of the child(court order/solicitor's letter needed) u can apply for F.I.S..u need to be working a min of 19hrs per week.check it out on welfare.ie

    If you are working, and take your baby for one overnight stay with you a year you will qualify for One Parent Family Tax Credit. This will double your personal allowance from €1830 per year to €3660, so you will be paying a good bit less tax.
