    will it be busy?

    are the students back?

any good pubs / night clubs to head too?

this week is freshers week in galway, it'll be jammed pretty much everywhere. If you want a quiet few pints before you head into town theres a great pub in salthill called o'connors its on the same stretch of the road as subway. You could also go to the Quays on shop street thats a great pub

You could try Coyote's, it's getting rave reviews in another thread!!

On a serious note most pubs will have a good crowd in them on account of the match. If your interested in watching the game there is a new pub opening below the meyrick hotel in eyre square. It used to be called O' Flaherty's and for a short while Tosh. They've it done up as a sports bar so that could be good for the match anyway. Then you'd probably be aswell heading down shop street or quay street.
