Apologies if this in the wrong forum.

I looking to get the flu jab (I'm tired of getting the flu every year).
Whenever I look up info online, all I get is the list of folks its reccommended for, the old, the young & the ill. Never any info on people outside of those credentials.

Can I get it from my GP ?
& if so, how much ?

    Cheers.

You should be able to get it from your doctor, but I've no idea how much it'll cost.

But it may not work too well on you. I got it last year in work (they had a nurse come in and give it to those who wanted it). After about half an hour I started feeling queasy and ended up out of work for two weeks. You may not have as bad a reaction as I did, but just keep it in mind that it can have side effects.

TBH if you're getting the flu every winter you might want to have a chat with your GP about your immune system. But yeah, your GP will inject you np, they usually get a huge batch in and often have times where people will literally walk in, get jabbed, walk out. It's not very expensive IIRC, 25/30 euro I think.

do you really believe that this 'jab' has anything to do with the flu?

    do some research sheeple.

If you can get out of the bed, it's not the flu. I got the flu a few years ago and had to phone my mum to get tablets for me. Getting up and letting her in seemed like one of the hardest things I'd ever had to do. I could barely stand, let alone get to the front door. It's a pretty scary illness - not surprised it kills babies and old people.

You're right. If it was just an innoculation, why is the needle so big? And why do they make you look away when they inject you even if you're not scared of needles? It's because they're implanting the RFID chip in your veins!

    Wait.... you're not Run_to_da_hills. You're MistressPrincessSxyDubGrlMordInnocentKnickersDeth93! What's going on?

Didn't you get the memo? All colds were upgraded to the flu and all headaches are now officially migraines. You may also describe a tickly chest as bronchitis and an eyelash in your eye as river blindness. ;)

Seriously though it really pisses me off when someone is walking and talking and claiming they have the flu.

A girl I work with today complained of the flu, another girl asked her if she had been to the doctor and she replied 'nah, sure I have strepsils and some tissues'. Yeah, that's the flu alright love P

Hypochondriacs are soooo annoying! If you genuinely have a headache, they'll claim they have the worst headache!
I used to get the flu vaccine when i was a teen beacuse i had (severe ) anaemia. It never made me feel sick but i still got a mild flu! It only works against the most common strain. I didnt pay for it so I dont know about cost, but its quick and painless!

If you do a search on Google for "flu jab nob fell off caught aids" you'll find a ton of stories relating to possible really bad side effects.

Other than that though as others have said, your doctor should have stock and charge around the 30 euro mark.
