Got a photo in Glagow the other day of an RAF chinook. Very few marking. ON the tail it has the letters BN. Looking at wikipedia it tells of one chinook (called Bravo November after its original designation) that has been in all RAF deployments in the last 25 years.

I wondering can anyone confirm if this is that aircraft:

Yep!, nice catch! This is the RAF Boeing Chinook HC.2 (ZA718). This aircraft is indeed one of the most distinguished in the RAF having seen action in every major conflict that the RAF has been invovled in during its life, including the Falklands war. Well done.

Jeez it was lucky it wasn't on the Atlantic Conveyor

Nice catch of the Zoom aircraft behind it also, was that parked up waiting for the liquidators to sort it out ?

The wikipedia article said that it had left the Atlantic Converyor before it was hit.

Assume the B757 will be seized to pay airport charges to BAA. Its on a remote part of the ramp. I think there may be a B767 there also.
