    I was surprised that all of you Kathryn Thomas and Aidan Power fans
    didn't make any mention of the fact that their inaugural Saturday
    Winning Streak/Dream Ticket programme was botched irreparably
    because the geniuses in the VT control room aired the first segment
    twice so that (apparently and according to my parents in-law) the
    show highlights including the spin the wheel and draw for next weeks
    contestants was never seen.

    Sure - most of ye 20-30 somethings will scoff at the show but surely
    that has to have been one of the most serious Montrose faux-pas of
    recent times. Fair enough if, G*d forbid a Richter scale 7 earthquake
    hit Stillorgan at 8.45pm we could excuse the programming department
    from ditching the second half of the programme but forcing octogenarians
    to sit through the first half of this show and then simulating early
    dementia by repeating the show without the concluding climactic
    high point of the show is inexcusable. :eek:
