    For the last couple of years there has been laying of pipes on both sides of the town... first was the broadband and then came the new sewerage scheme.. I would imagine that these pipes have to joined up (for the sewers i would imagine.)

    Heres a pic of the last time it was closed in 1946... well technically its just being built to the right of the old 7 arched bridge
