Welcome to the forum rusty.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept deactivated firearms for sale on boards.ie or on adverts.ie. There are license issues here as well as deact certification issues. The same goes for edged weapons. These are not permitted on adverts.ie and for ease of dealing with these issues they are also not permitted for sale on the militaria boards.

I hope you understand. Please feel free to post any pictures of your collection. Any medals and other militaria is, of course, permissible for sale on adverts.ie and the militaria forum on boards.ie.

I don't know if we're in the correct thread for this, but I too was in our rifle team. Won the runner up cup for All Army Individual in '72 using a Lee Enfield No4 MkII.

Loved the Bren as well.. proud of me 2" groupings.

To upload photos to the boards I suggest you go to Photobucket and register. Then upload your pics to there. You'll be given a sort of code for each photo.... it'll have
