laptop slower after resseting to factory specs

Hi had some trouble with my laptop a few days ago and i had to reset it to factory settings, but the damn thing is now slower than a lazy tortoise... did all (ALL) the drivers updates, vista updates, and it still is dragging itself around... any ideas? it is an ACer Aspire Gemstone 6920G... thanx all.

It needs to re-index and defrag the hard drive again. this will happen automagically over the next couple days.
