I am heading to manchester on Friday week and I am booked into a hotel at manchester airport (Crowne Plaza). I was just wondering what is the cheapest mode of transport to use to get to Manchester City Center and would anyone have any advice as to what sites etc would be recommended to visit and if there are any good cheap restaurants worth checking out. I will be going to watch Man Utd play on the Saturday

    www.thetrainline.com for ticket prices.
The Printworks isn't a bad spot in Manchester, restaurants, cinema, few bars...and a Starbucks :)
