    Ah jesus. What year is it, 1864? You'd think they'd put some sort of AF mechanism in it. Not worth the €1000 price tag in that case.

    I'm sure I'd manage just fine with AF, it's the results out of it I'm interested in.

    it -does- have that cool trick of looking considerably bigger on the inside when you look through it than it actually looks on the outside ...

    Do expect to break the bank if you want to get your hands on the Noctilux lens though, as it will retail for a whopping €8,000 - that's approximately a trillion gazillion US dollars. I jest - when converted, that's roughly $11,300.
