Hi

We have some sort of animal that seems to be living under the house, I've never seen it but its droppings are always in the same spot, I don't know what it is but what I can say is that its droppings are 'stringy' rather than pellets (I'm assuming Rat's droppings are bigger versions of a mouse's and therefore are pellets).

Anyone got any idea what it might be?

me thinks you need to speek to a pest controller. Hard to discover what type of animal might be lurking from a discription of the poops lol. Good luck with that.
