No degree...

Just dropped out of course as it wasn't for me, so I've decided to take time out from education and return as a mature student in another course I'm interested in.

What kinds of well paid jobs are available for those who don't have a degree?

Well I have a degree yet am still unemployed. It's just a piece of paper that means F' all. I know people who dropped out of school who now have great jobs.

It depends what your natural talents and abilities are. Sales is an area you don't need a degree and you can earn a lot through comission structures, but not everyone is good at it.

Are you good with people? Any particular interests? Working in an area related to your hobbies can be a great motivator!

Failing all that just scour the job boards and papers for anything that catches your eye. Just be sure that if you get called for interviews you show real enthusiasm for the job, else your lack of direction will come across. I was in a similar position when I had no idea what I wanted to do but hated my current job. I think interviewers pick up on those vibes and it really puts them off.

    Best of luck!
