    Hi all,
I don't know anything about laptops other than I want to get a MacBook.
I'll be using it primarily for wireless internet/email and iPod.
    Any suggestions?
Any help/advice is GREATLY appreciated!! :):):)

Im planning on getting a Macbook aswell. I think Apple are ment to be updating them on the 14th of October (cant confirm that, just a rumour after all). What im doing is waiting until then, check out the new ones, and if the updates are minor, then get one of the old models (hopefully a Macbook Pro) on the cheap off ebay.

    Hope that helps!

It's unlikely the updates will be major, and even more unlikely that there will be cosmetic changes made. :)

Actually, all evidence is pointing to a huge update. The Macbook is rumoured to be changing to aluminium with a large glass track pad. Spy shots are on the net. And after years and years of pretty much the same design, the Macbook Pro is having the first major change to the chassis with a more tapered design.
