simple question, how do people make those avatars you see that kinda move, ya no like a second or two of a clip of a movie or something,

anyone?

It's called an animated gif. Just google for animated gif creator.

Download.Com have some.Search Gif maker/editor and click the top-rated free ones. Theres one there that i recall being really easy to use.
