Hello everyone,
I need help with putting my name on the exif data from my D80. On some photos I have viewed I see that the owner has inserted his name and email address in the user comment as per below.

(User Comment = (c) Paul O'Kane pokane at ei5di.com )

How do I do that, is it done on the camera for every photo or each photo individually ?

I have a funny feeling that yes you can set up the camera to record that data alternatively you can get an app that does it after the fact. I assume that photoshop would allow you to do it. exif data is easy enough to edit either way.

You can do it on the D80 as an image comment.

See page 104 of your user guide for the D80

You can do it pretty handily in Lightroom too. What I've always wondered though is, is there anything to stop someone from taking out your name, and putting in their own?

Thanks Sheesh, RoryW and Whyulittle. Have it now. The manual is very handy, pity I don't read it often enough.

If you want in photoshop you can setup a nice and easy script to put it on all your images OR you can do it manually by pressing Crtl+Alt+Shift+I.

Not really, you can just pop and image into photoshop, copy it into a new image and your away. Although if somebody really wants to get away with that sort of stuff they'll find some way around it no matter what.
