    I'm curious to know what age the nuig freshers area. In one of the other threads it says that Nuig have the youngest student population in the country.

    I'm going on 20 starting college tomorrow

    I'm 18 since March, did TY though.

    Most people will be 17 - 19, I don't see why NUIG would have a younger population than anywhere else..

    I was 20 going into first year (took a year out and did TY) I then had to repeat a year, so I'm now 22 in second year... I'll get there eventually :rolleyes:

    17 not 18 until May! and apparently the student bar looks for your id for all events 18+,


    BTW its meant to be internation pirate day...yet no one has spoken any pirate to me today aaaargh.... me matyyyys!

    Yeah if ya get some elses ID you'll be grand for most places but ya need student ID for college bar..

    I don't think most freshers made it in on friday...I certainly didn't! Just a pity that it fell the day after Thursday of freshers week like, it was always doomed :)

    im not gonna lie, that the whole college bar issue pissed me off something ridiculous in my first attempt at first year....

    i was 17 all yr round, turned 18 the day b4 my last exam!:eek: still tho, clubs dont mind and if college bar dont either if ur in groups
