You were given a 6 month perscription for the first time you have gone on the oral contraceptibe pill and have not been seen from then ?
I am staggered that the dr didnt' have you back at 3months.

You won't be given an interanl pelvic exam, you will have your blood pressure taken and most likly will be weighed. the dr should check with you what if any side effects you have had, check the leaflet that came with your last packet of pill for a list of them.

You should have a talk with your dr about when would be a good time to have a smear test.

Nothing to worry about - he'll probably weigh you, take your blood pressure, ask about side effects and then write you a new prescription. Nothing intrusive.

They'll take your blood pressure, weigh you, ask you if you have been experiencing any side effects, how you're feeling in general and if all is well they'll write you another prescription.

God no! Nothing intrusive at all, he'll check that your blood pressure is normal, ask how you've been feeling on it and probably weigh you!

    Don't worry :)

Have to say I'm surprised too that the doc didn't have you back sooner than that. When I went on the pill first, she only gave me a two month prescription, and then I had to go back. Basically they just asked me some questions about if I'd experienced any negative side effects, checked my blood pressure, weighed me and checked my breasts too. It's no biggie so don't be worried :)
