Well I've always personally been interesting in Green issues and I realise our illustrious is lacking in a Young Green Party. Now I would love to set up DIT Young Greens as we currently have Young PDs and Sinn Fein.

If anyone would be interested in helping me set up the DIT Young Greens or even just interested in joining. I know people would be hesitant in trusting a First Year in something like this but I have been in contact with the Chair of the National Young Greens and she said:
We can help organise events, provide you with any supplies you need and send experienced Young Greens volunteers to help out for the first few events. We can also help write a constitution for the society.

So if there are any Environmentally Friendly Boardsie's or anyone who has any level of interest in green issues or just wants to meet people please leave a commet if your interested.

    Green Party?

Didn't they completely sell out just to appease Bertie?

We, the YOUNG GREENS, are completely independent of the Green Party when it comes to policy making. We cannot answer policy questions on behalf of the Green Party.

The Young Greens are separate from the Green Party and it was them who made those decisions. The Young Greens while being a political organisation, we are aware of the fact that large sections of the population have become estranged from the political process, and that politics on its own may not be sufficient to deal with the problems of the modern world. Similarly, as an environmental organisation we see postive, intelligent engagement with the structures of society as the best way of achieving our aims.

Thanks, although they are entitaled to their opinion.

However its a thread to invite people interested so if your interested please don't leave slanderous comments towards the green party. As I mentioned before hand its the Young Green Party they are independent to the Green Party in everything regarding policy making, govermental choices and candidates.

So back on topic anyone interested in joining please leave a comment or pm me.
