What's your plans for the RALLY FOR LIFE at Stormont (18-10-08)?

I'm hoping to attend the Rally for Life at Stormont, Belfast, at 1pm on Saturday 18th October 2008. The Rally for Life is being organised by Precious Life. Hopefully there will be a coach-load of us going to it from my area.

I was wondering if anyone on here was planning on going, and also what preparations you might be making - for example, will you make placards, get t-shirts printed etc...?

I need ideas! Money is tight but I'm sure something can be done.

Let me hear your best ideas.

My plan? To stay at home.

I don't know that advertising your event under the pretense of asking supporters who may be on boards what they'll be doing is entirely appropriate.

Please, this thread is only for those who are interested in promoting and attending this event, and discussing plans, sharing ideas etc...

    Thanks.

I have no issue with your event, only the advertising of it here.

How is it any different from advertising or discussing any other event like boardsie beers or what not ? That siad its not exactly a commercial advertisment either lol.

Anyway a rally in belfast sounds like fun.. who's bringing the petrol bombs ?:p

I'm just waiting to hear from the organisers and I will share any tips or ideas I glean from that on this thread.

OP made a similar post (blatant pimping of their rally, masquerading as debate) and it was locked.

I was talking to the organisers today. T-shirts will be on sale at the event, though you can of course make your own placards, t-shirts etc... but keep it sweet! This is a celebration of human life!

The Rally for Life was a great success. There is a full report here:

Meanwhile, there is a petition going to the United Nations on The Right to Life for all:
The right to life of every human being, from conception to natural death, each child having the right to be conceived, born and educated within the family, based on marriage between a woman and a man, the family being the natural and fundamental group unit of society.
Please sign the petition and send to all your friends:
