    This relates to UHF only...

Channel 21 is 471.25 Mhz and each channel is 8 Mhz above the previous one so if you take channel 'nn', multiply the difference between 'nn' and 21 by 8, add that to 471.25 and you have the frequency.

Take Channel 59 (Kippure TG4), the difference between 59 and 21 is 38, multiply this by 8 which equals 304, add this to 471.25 which gives 775.25 which is the frequency of Channel 59.

You must have a vertically polarised VHF aerial and a horizontally polarized UHF aerial.
