    HI,

    basic setup questions I suppose.

I have BT house phone with 2mb BB and an 046-90** number. Wireless thru a Netgear router (Netgear DG834G 54Mbps).
I wanted to upgrade my BB and stay with BT, but see ways of cutting down on the overall bill. BT do a BB package only now.

what options are there to me, to keep my BT (and upgrade), keep my 046 current house phone number. We have two mobiles with o2.

Thx - and appologies if this is stated elsewhere.

    K

You can open an account with a VoIP provider like Blueface and make all you outgoing calls at much reduced rates. If your broadband is via ADSL then you will need to keep your phone line and pay the line rental.

To make IP calls you will need either an IP phone or an ATA, which is an adapter you plug a standard phone into.
