One of them manages to get across through the heavy traffic and as he approaches the opposite side, puts his hands up in the air, ala Rocky. Just as he was about to step onto the opposite path, he slipped and fell into a puddle about a foot deep in front of all the traffic at the lights
Evil to laugh I know, but it was funny.

earlier i learnt the collective noun for kiwi's (the bird not the fruit) is "a tribe" ...as in "some people believe that a savage tribe of kiwi's are responsible for the dodo's demise"
