Tie it over the hood of the car...:D.
Nah!!!! to Un PC these days.
This will sound absolutely gross and mental but it is brilliant.
Nip down to your local under taker and ask them if you could aquire off them,or who supplies them with a new, clean rubberised BODY BAG :eek:.
However it has the following advantages [1] It is water proof [2] Very tough material [3] totally washable [4 ] leakproof [very important] If you can fit a 240lb human in one ,a deer will fit nicely.
Also it makes a handy waterproof over bag for your sleeping bag,or stashing a change of dry clothes and water sensitive gear if you are camping out.
Also if you explain this to your undertaker in full ,they wont find it odd,or think you are into some private body disposal.:)

:eek::eek: man :eek::eek: man I don't know what to say !!:D but 10 / 10 for originality. but how'd you come up with that idea? you in the trade?

Nope! Not in the trade, got the idea from some US hunting friends of mine, who had done a couple of tours in the Armed services, where the body bag is used quite alot for other than it's designed purpose.Sleeping bag outer liner, dry gear storage, extra rain gear, inflatable bouyancy aid[dunno how that works] and body bag!On that thought, wonder would any surplus outlets on the net have them for sale?

Later, just had a look about the net.Plenty for sale, ranging from 20 dollars surplusto 45 dollars at www.crimescene.com.

I use a plastic tarpoulin I got in Lidl for €10 - just the job. It is quite large so I lay it out in the back, drop in the deer and then cover him up with the excess. Waterproof and keeps it all neat and tidy.
I dont know about the old bath idea a bit big to have in the back all of the time.

I have the same i think kerryman, it does the right job. i know of a few guys who cut one of those big blue plastic drums in half and puts the two of them in the back of his jeep, belly down, a fully grown fallow will sit in each half comfortably untill they get home for skinning.

Well, used I think they mean."was sitting on a shelf in a quatermasters stores, past use by date." Rather than "used issue with numerous previous occupants who leaked all in it.":p
