Is Milan Closed on a monday?

    The OH and myself are going to Milan in November and have a choice of going Wednesday to Saturday or Saturday to Wednesday.

    The main question is around Monday, I know a lot of Places close on a Monday such as Muesems and the like. Does anyone have experience of this being the case in Milan.

    AFAIK if something is going to be closed in Milan then it'll close on a Monday. That's not to say that there'll be nothing to do. You just need to plan in advance what you're going to do.


    As a rule of thumb, most museums in Milan are closed on Mondays, and many attractions (such as churches) close for a lunch break somewhere between midday and 3pm. The Tourist Information office publishes a booklet with the latest opening times - ask for this when you arrive.
