    Hi,

I have signed up for the talk package with IBB but want to use it on my PC as well as the handset I bought. I didnt think there would be a problem but when I called they say they dont support it.

Can anyone help with what settings I need for x-lite. I have my username and password and the SIP address but its not calling out or receiving calls but I can call internally.

I just have a PC connected to a router that feeds my BB connection.

    Thanks

I have it working now on the softphone but now when the phone rings it sometimes rings on the soft phone and not the handheld and vice versa. Anyone know why this would be?

I would have imagined it would have rang both?

    Thanks

It will ring through to the last registered device.
I know that with Blueface, you can create a 2nd Sip Profile, and then set your dial string to ring both.
Then configure your softphone with the 2nd Sip Profile.

Any chance you could tell me what settings you used for x-lite?
I have been trying to configure a softphone for the past three days on irish broadband, and it is turning me hair gray.
