first triathlon this weekend - what to do with race number?

Just wondering what you all do with your race numbers....
i will have a tri suit on. should i get one of the race belts?

yep race belt is the way to go.....I got one at a stall at carlingford triathlon a few weeks ago for only 6 euros

great thanks dave. cycle super store have them aswell from their website for about the same price. hopefully they are in the shop!

so i presume i just throw it on before i take of with the bike ya??

thats the one - hang it off around your saddle, put in on the back for the cycle and just twist around to the front for the run.

I've just start triathlons recently but pinning them on for runs used to bug me.....trying to get it bang on centre.....with enough room for the pins so it wouldn't rip etc, etc. Not the sort of thing you want to be fidgeting with when you're thinking about what lays ahead

Just put the belt+number on under your wetsuit, saves doing another task in T1.
