would the rechargeable battery sets work ok with my wii and xbox 360?

I guess those devices would have non-standard proprietary batteries.

DealExtreme might have what you're looking for, I just did a quick search & found this amongst others: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3347

you see i don't want to shell out for two seperate systems for each. more devices to clutter the place. they both take regular AA batteries by duracell etc. so i think I'll chance it...

If thats the case the mymemory chargers will be perfect for your needs. The fast chargers with 4 batteries work out to just 7 pounds delivered :-)

thanks. I see they do an encore one (uniross value brand I think) with AAA batteries too. Wonder how long the charge times are?

Avoid the Encore, it uses Ni-Cd batteries which will die out quite soon.

    Check out:

Its a nice price for 4xAAA 1000 maH batteries with the USB charger, you'll need to keep an eye on the charging time though :

cheers again :) I don't really need the AAA just thought it would be good to have the extra use. So I suppose the xpress 13.99 2500 mAh one is better than
the sprint 12.99 2100mAh but then you get a quicker charge time  decisions, decisions!

From looking at the pic the xpress 1000 seems to have 2000 mAh batteries rather that 2500mAh : more confusion

but then the sprint 90 description says:
The Uniross Sprint 90 minute fast battery charger includes 4 x 2500mAh/2100mAh batteries and will charge them in just 90 minutes.
