Laytown Races 2008

    An enjoyable day at the races today out in Laytown, I met PaulW and GFox also so nearly a Boards.ie outing, only back in the door about 20 minutes so cards still downloading. Heres one to start with

    Canon 5d with centre point focus and 70-200 f2.8 IS 1/1250th second @ f4 ISO 200

    Nice shots - was going to head out and bring the family but the weather looked bad earlier in the day (fair weather photographer) so sat it out in work.. Fair play for getting some decent shots in those conditions!

    It turned out quite well in the afternoon, I use bbc.co.uk weather forecast and 9/10 times they are a good indicator. Thanks for the comments
