    Hi all,

Posted recently looking for a customizable portable banner stand (found one eventually, have emailed for a quote). Now I have another thing that needs solving

My school is looking for a backdrop that will cover max 100~ students, for a reasonable price. Reason being, we take alot of groups photos and they never turn out great because of the backgrounds. They hired a "professional photographer" last year to take the group picture of the graduation students, and ended up not giving it to the students becasue the pics was so bad..

This year they've invested heavily already in their own equipment, nearly full photography set, tripod, several lenses the works. We'll be getting the backdrop mentioned above in the next few weeks for presentations etc. Anyway enough digresing, I need a solution for the backdrop for 100~ students. Was thinking of a curtain? Or maybe a large paper pull down, what would the prices be like for that? They'd be willing to spend around 2,000 on it I'd say, any suggestions?

    Cheers

Calumet in Belfast are pretty good and know what they are talking about, give them a ring a talk to them about your requirements and I am sure they have what you need.

With regard to last years group picture, surely someone has though about or has suggested replacing the background in Photoshop or other editing package?

How bad could the shot have been especially from a pro?

I always think it's nice to have something in the background, which represents the school. In my old place, they used to hang a cardboard crest from the curtain on the stage in the Assembly Hall.
    It worked just fine.
