Lens hoods in Dublin?

    Looking to buy lens hood for my kit lens 18-55mm and 50mm f1.8. Anybody know where best to get them in town? Also is it worth putting it on the 50mm. Cheers

    I wouldn't say it's worth it on the 50mm. Try the usual suspects: Gunne's, Conns, etc...

    Well, you can paint the inside black or even glue black velvet or suede inside... :-)

    I believe Gunn's are one of the few shops to keep Canon Lens Hoods in stock. It can be a 5 to 6 week delay,

    print it on black card? (then enjoy the fun of figuring out where to cut..)

    also the 50mm f/1.8 needs a little screw-on adapter to use a lens hood. So they wouldnt work that well..
