I believe Goodwins on Caple St. stock both S&P and Martin? Well, they had some S&P last time I was in there but that was a few years ago. They definitely do stock Martin.

I think with acoustics it's best to try them out before buying.

Last I was acoustic shopping, they stocked S&P in Musicmaker and some Martins in Perfect Pitch. I've had good experiences with Simon & Patrick. For what you pay, they're a better guitar than any of the dominant brands.

Yeah, like the last poster said, the simon and patricks offer better value for money. But the Martin would be easier to sell on, cos of the name and it would hold its value better. Depends if it is a long term guitar you are looking for?
