Dragon Quest IV out tomorrow

    This totally past me by. Dragon Quest IV for the DS is out tomorrow under some lengthy subtitle. I'd say it's well worth picking up. My experience with the series was just DQVIII which was an amazing game. DQIV was the game that caused a large number of fights in japanese stores when the initial shipment couldn't meet demand when originally released on the NES. Must be good so.

    Looks like said subtitle is "The Chapters of the Chosen". I saw a few screens, looks really good. Would really love to play this but my ds is at parents home.

    I too have only played VIII and absolutely loved it!

    Yeah looking forward to this one too..
    remember seeing a trailer for DQ IX for the DS, I think it was released in Japan.. havent heard anything bout it coming out over here. It looked cool tho

    Dragon Quest IX hasn't been released yet. I'm not sure about it. The combat is real time which has me worried since it's supposedly plays nothing like a DQ game. I smell FFXII syndrome. However Level 5 are handling and have yet to let me down and are far more competent than those hacks at Square enix.

    I heard that they went back to turn based or that the real time was a misunderstanding, but that was some time ago, has it been changed again since?

    Just read a bit about the delays in DQIX's release there.. The trailer was out in Dec. 06. Anyways ill definitely be giving IV a go, and I see V and VI are probably coming out too
