    Finally a legal (and cheap) piece of software that will allow you back up your DVD movie collection and play it back through frontrow amongst other apps. I have tried using various third party apps such as mac the ripper, DVD assist, etc but it was always a bit cumbersome. So for $40 this looks like exactly what I need.

    The main difference is that when it backs up the DVD it does not break the encryption which is where other programs were breaking the law.
    Obviously it will require slightly more storage space as you cannot remove menus and other unwanted items but hey!

    Will download over the weekend and post back with initial observations.

    Just thought others on here might be interested in this.

    I've had no problems exercising my fair use rights with the other software, as I totally abhor the trailers and menus on DVD's. But each to their own I suppose....
