macbook for college

    hey am thinking of buying a macbook for college, the black 2.4Ghz, 250gb hard drive, 4gb!! is this a good choice, will it be compatible in college?
    Id prefer to buya good notebook now and have it!!! many thanks!!

    Depends on the course. You can always install windows if you need something like MS Access.

    I've said this a few times on here over the last two weeks, but I really think the Macbook/Pro are grossly overpriced for what they are. Also, Apples entire laptop range is due for a significant overhaul in October-specifically the 14th if Macrumors is correct.
