outlook email - lots of symbols etc... how to turn off??

    Hey,

    Was writing an email in outlook when I went to hit Ctrl and something for a symbol, but my fingers bashed some other control key I'm not sure of, and now when I start an email, each space has a dot in the middle between each word... every time I skip a line I get a 'Enter' style arrow, and there's other odd symbols around the preview mail.
    I can't find out what these are or how to turn off!

    Any help please?

    You've turned on Paragraph Marks and Hidden Formatting Symbols.

    Press Ctrl * to turn it off...
    (Ctrl + Shift + 8)

    Try pressing Ctrl+*

    This might help. Its a microsoft formatting feature.
