Ok so eircom charge for ecess BW now

    Well that image probibly said more than i could but im an actionscript 2 developer between jobs doing some freelance work , It uses up a lot of bandwith and up until now eircom have been permisive .I think its no suprise this comes right after the 7mb upgrade .

    So im looking for an unlimited provider id just lito ask your opinion on which is the best for traffic i dont have cable (sky) so thats out and i dont want the hassle of changing the line or whatever just a normal dsl connection

    utv do an unlimited package for 6euro above their package rates, i.e. 2mb/3mb etc.

    i dont get you though
    169.84 euro - previous bill of ~ 75 euro = 99 euro - talktime( 68euro ) = 31euro for broadband???

    Imagine and UTV offer either a high usage cap option or "unlimited" for a extra fee.

    I'd be curious to see if they actually charge people when they get their bill

    I think your maths are wrong - there was no overdue bill so the €75 shouldn't be taken into consideration

    Talktime - €81.99 inc vat
    Call Charges - €19.11

    That leaves €104.40 for 2 months line rental and broadband

    So broadband is €26.84 per month


    OP, I can't see how that includes charges for excess usage?
