SERIOUS SINGER needed to front covers band, audition 26th sept. blanchardstown

We need a team player who can sing in pitch, not afraid of different genres and has the confidence to front a band, this is your chance, you don't need to have a don henley voice just a good all-rounder
    own transport a bonus

Male singers prefered (age 22 plus)

females (aged 25 plus) welcome provided you are aware we don't get chauffered to gigs in limos and you're are prepared to pitch in at gigs (i.e there are no roadies so make yourself useful love!)

The setlist for the Jam will be the following songs, please learn at least 10 for the audition, it's more a jam so enjoy it, we will choose a singer on the night though if we find someone decent.

    Rock
    - Sweet Child O' Mine
    - Whiskey in the Jar
    - Sweet Home - Skynard
    - Take it Easy - Eagles
    - Pride n Joy - Stevie Ray Vaughan (Blues E)
    - Rock n Roll - Led Zep (Blues A)
    - Tush - ZZ TOP (Blues G)
    - AC/DC - Back in Black
    - Bad Company - Feel Like Making Love

    Groove
    James Brown
    • Sex Machine
    • Get up of that thing
Average White Band - Pick up the pieces
    Bob Marley
    • No Woman no Cry
    • Could you be loved
    • Wait in Vain
Stevie Wonder - Jammin' (not Marley!)
    Commitments - Mustang Sally

This gives you plenty of time to get your act together and learn the songs.

The jam will take place in an equipped rehearsal room.

    We are 24-40 age
The aim of the jam is to form a cover band, and the atmosphere will be relaxed.
    We'll be playing 60's 70's 80's covers.

We want to get gigging as soon as possible so the quicker you learn the tunes

If you're interested, please send an email through the link below, let us know your :
    - experience
    - age

    thanks alot

I doubt any female vocalists would want to work in a sexist environment anyway.

curious as to why male singers can be over 22, but females must be over 25?? and have you met any girls in bands? i dont know any who think like that at all!
