windows xp install - full or quick format

    as the title says

    during a windows xp install - why should you choose one over the other ??

    As far as I know, full format checks the drive for errors while formatting, which isn't really necessary on a new drive.
    I'd usually just go for the quick format, and if needs be run "chkdsk /x /f /r" on the drive when I have the time to spare after doing the install...
