    Hi,
Anyone aware of what are the chances of getting dvds returned after being seized by customs at Port Loaise mail centre? The dvds were bought from ioogame.com site (heard of it on 96FM radio) but might have been counterfit... Letter says that seized goods may be validly claimed if a claim is made in writing a month from date of seizure, enclosing full name & address.
Can i prove that i was unaware that they were counterfit?
    Any ideas/comments welcome!
    Thanks,

A quick google would appear to indicate that they are indeed counterfeit, i'd be very surprised if customs allowed you to receive illegal goods tbh.
    Tough break.

    Thanks and thought as much!
Since i didn't receive the goods do you reckon that i might be able to recoup the payment made by Visa (through paypal)?..

Just out of curiosity when did you hear this site being recommended on 96fm? Neil Prendeville was pimping it on his show again today, saying he had absolute confidence in it and would recommend it to anyone. There were people ringing up to thank him for the recommendation, saying they were normally afraid of buying online. I'd be very tempted to give him a call if I were you.

Did the letter specifically say the goods were seized because they were suspected to be counterfeit? Or do they just want duty paid?

I'd agree with Guage though, get onto the radio station, and warn about the customs seizure.

DJ or backroom staff should really have researched the site to ensure it was legit (assuming it's not).

Definite illegal copies. I do not think ignorance is an excuse and I doubt you will get them from customs. You would be better claiming through payupal/credit card though
