My laptop was wiped of all my prgrammes and back to the basic again, i had a programme which if you were looking at a colour photo, you could press a button underneath and it opens up another programme and in that you could see the photo in black and white, get rid of red eye, crop etc etc etc..
I tried googling it but can find anything i can download..
Is there a programme i can download for free as i doubt i paid for it in the frist place? sorry now but im not great with computers, if you could give me a link to it so i can download it??
    Thanks in advance!!!

Or Paint.net or just upload to picnik.com. That last one is very simple, but does some great things!

there might be an undo edit button somewhere.

what you should do is copy a different picture convert the copy to black and white and see if you can undo the edit.

In Picasa all edits/changes are undoable until such point as you press the "Save changes" button. You can just select the photo by double clicking it, and you should see an "Undo <effect>" button in the Fixes panel on the left, where <effect> is the last effect/fix you applied, e.g. "Undo B&W".

The last time I used Picasa it also used to save the original files in a subfolder of the working folder, named, believe it or not, "Originals", I'm not absolutely sure if this was the default behavior, but I have a strong feeling it was.
