Gun Dog Training Book

    Hi lads, havent got a dog yet coz dont no what to go for at moment, no panic yet anyway. But can anyone recommend a good training book to get the basic starting tips. Any info much appreciated.

    it depends on the breed you get. if your going for a hpr type like you said in you post then get one that deals with hpr's, think a lad call guy wallace did a good one on the hpr"training the rough shooters dog" i think its called. but if you get a spaniel or lab there's books that deal with them, moxons is a good one for spaniels. best of luck.
