Chip fan fail (or speed to slow)

I got this message on POST this morning, checked the chipset fan and it seemed like it was struggling to move around but after a few minutes it went back to around 3000RPM (currently running at 3209RPM according to Speedfan). Plan on replacing it anyway, fecker of a thing is awful noisy sometimes.. Any thoughts? It is an ASUS A8N-E motherboard, think it is under warranty. Apparently it is common for the chipset fan to fail on these boards.

My old Asus Board ran around those speeds and was noisy as hell - not from windspeed but just from vibrating - it rumbled throughout the whole case. ****ing annoying.
