Luas Monthly Student Ticket Price

    I'm a student and starting college in Dublin. I'm looking to buy a monthly Luas ticket. I checked here, http://www.luas.ie/ul/210.pdf, and the price is €43(Luas Ticket Agent Fares). However, I have a Student Card and it says that I'm entitled to 40% off the Luas with the Student Card. So is that 40% off the Student Price meaning about €25 for the monthly ticket or is the €43 already taking the student discount into account with the card?

    The Student Monthly costs EUR 43 which is after discount, as opposed to the Adult Monthly costing EUR 60.

    Atrocious maths on their part, but €17 is close enough to 40% of the final €43 price. eFlow did something similar in their "50% discount" campaign when its really 33%.

    It's utterly disgraceful maths. Who in God's name uses the final price to calculate the discount?

    Well, obviously the LUAS and eFlow.... :rolleyes:
