3 missed periods...

Basically my problem is that it has been 13 weeks since I had my last period. Before this I had never missed a period before, so this isn't a common thing for me. I took a pregnancy test about 5 weeks ago to put my mind at ease- it was negative- but I'm still worried.
I haven't had any huge stress or change in my life which would result in missing periods. My friend suggested that it may be because I've lost weight over the past year/year and a half- about a stone and a half- but I've been at the same weight since February and have had periods since my weight levelled off so I don't think that might be the cause.
I know the most obvious answer is to go to the doctor but I really can't afford that at the moment...I'm just wondering has anyone else had a similar problem, or can think of another cause for missing so many periods?

    Thanks

go to a doctor or well women clinic, the WWC might waive the charges
but your health is the most important thing, borrow the 50euro if you have to

You can ALWAYS afford to go to the doctor.

To be fair, if you had a lump on your breast you wouldn't be saying ''oh i can't afford a doctor'', you'd be damn sure to get your hands on 50 euro. This could be serious, then again, it could be nothing, but you won't know until you visit your doctor.

It's plausible that the pregnancy test provided a falsh positive and that you are in fact pregnant, although being a man i'm unsure what other signs are present at 13 weeks.

Find the money. Refusing to go to the doctor because you don't want to spend the money is an insane thing to do.

Not to scare you, but imagine later it turns out you allowed ovarian cancer to develop because you had better things to do with 50 quid. Go to the doctor.
