need help with iTunes..

ok iv been trying to put music onto iTunes to go onto my ipod but when i try to put the music into iTunes it says this... an error occured while trying to import track the current encoder for bit rate and sample rate are not valid for this file ive tried different cds and it always says this does anyone know whats wrong…

Maybe you could try using 'media monkey' its like iTunes
You can sync your ipod up with this and export songs to your player.

doesn't solve your problem, i know . but its worth ago.

edit: I doesn't seem compatible if you are using a mac.
