I've been trying to figure out the name of this TV series for ages, it used to be on the DEN in the 90s, it was about this kind of network of secret agent kids. Their "leader" looked a bit like Jon Voight, they all had special computer/mobile phone gadgets that they could communicate through. There was this cool computer that used to run the Jon Voight guy's house, it could respond to speech which I thought was pretty cool as a child!! Any ideas what it was called?

I'm not sure if this is the right show but it sounds a lot like Mission Top Secret, it used to be on the den and the kids, started off with a brother and sister going around the world on all kinds of mad adventures, they were linked up to a computer network called Centauri and back in the 90's, it looked like they could do anything with it. The Jon Voight lookalike was called Neville Savage in it and was played by aussie actor Shane Briant. The imbd gives a description here http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112076/ .

    Hope it helps.

Ya that's it, cheers thanks a million!! Didn't specifically remember it as being Aussie though. G,the Aussies made some good ones back then..I started watching "The Girl From Tomorrow" again lately, hasn't aged that well though, I might take a look at "Spellbinders" and "Ocean Girl" again to see how they ended!

Hey guys can anyone pleeeeease help me, I'm trying to remember a cartoon of my youth, i was born in 1984 so it was either late 80s or early 90s. I'm almost certain it was shown on the Den, but i only have the most vague of memories of it. I think it had Dragons in some cave undergorund or something and there may have been a crystal to protect or something, and all i can picture when I think of it is deep purple, red and black colours and cave-like scenenry but there may have been others who oived elsewhere and only went to the crystal/dragon if needed.
Upon reading what I just typed I am fully aware that I appear to be a total crackpot and I do doubt myself from time to time but I could swear that this cartoon existed. Even though it was a bit dark or "scary" I still loved it and would love to find out more about it. Providing it even existed that is lol. It's been going through my head for years now
    PLEASE HELP!!!!

    Hi,

not sure if either of these 2 cartoons are what you are looking for but both fit the time line. One is called double dragon - pretty dark for the 90's really but it has dragons and the colours are a bit mad. The other one Im not sure about, its called dragonflyz and while not as dark, there was crystals to protect there. Here's a linky for both, have a look and see if they ring any bells. Double Dragon - http://www.skooldays.com/categories/saturday/sa1619.htm and Dragonflyz http://www.skooldays.com/categories/saturday/sa1605.htm

I had a quick scout on youtube so if you type in either of the names, you should be able get the themesongs and they might help some more.

Oh my God, I think I remember the one that you're talking about. I was in 1st class when that was out, there was a wizard, a tower and I distinctly remember a crystal. I loved that, no idea what it was called though! I don't think it was either of the two mentioned above though, or else I'm thinking of a different one.

Was it Allsorts? That dog lived in a kennel but it was like a little house inside. I remember this because it took over from Puddle Lane at 12 10 years ago and I hated it. I loved PL. Anyway one of the reasons that this sticks in my mind was that Lisa Dingle from Emmerdale played a mad wan with a fiddle. I think she ended up playing it on that single from Emmerdale too, Hillbilly Rock. Details
This musical children’s program was designed to help educate children, all the while keeping them entertained. Originally, the series focused on the adventures of Jiffy, JJ, Bonzo and Box, who all lived together in a neat little home. Each episode focused on their adventures, while learning lessons relating towards the plot. The series was later remade, with all new characters and settings, though the series’ premise towards educating children while keeping them entertained has remained the same. http://www.tvrage.com/shows/id-2072

I don't know what era this tv show is from but it was on The Den or Den 2 or something.

It was like these puppets, who lived in the mountains and this boy used to go up to them and hang around with them and stuff and there was this evil wizard although I don't know if he was evil or a wizard who they were all scared of.

"there was this evil wizard although I don't know if he was evil or a wizard" :D

My bad. But still any help is appreciated.

I'm trying to remember a specific kids tv series on in the early-mid ninties. It was a live action french import about a boy and girl who were like detectives and both had bicycles with huge antenna on them for radio contact I think? They went around Paris solving crimes and it was on on Saturday or Sunday mornings on I think RTE 2. Think there was only one series.

Every time retro TV comes up between my friends I always mention this and it rings bells with the lads, but we can never think of the name of it! It was airing around the same time as programmes like Beakmans World...

    Can anyone help?!

hey does anyone remember this cartoon from the early/mid 90's. It was like a cross between power rangers and turtles. There were a group of small dinosaurs (i think they were dinos), lived underground and fought crime. When something happened they sat on special chairs, spun around and ended up in their different coloured suits.

I remember as well that they drove around in a van and when they ramped up out of the cave you saw the same sequence of them knocking over a paper stand (or something like that)......

Ok, so its an old thread but I'm trying to find the program that Teresa Mannion (rte) was a leading presenter on in the 90's. It may or may not have been on the den.
It was for 11-15 year olds ??

    Any takers ?

Hey lads don't know if you'll know the name of this kids animated show I use to watch when I was younger on The Den. I can't for the life of me think of the name of it!! It was centered around this girl who I think was a princess. I remember a part in one of the show's episodes where these two boys had to climb up a house (I think it was a house??) to retrieve something and this little girl said that whoever gets to the top first gets a kiss from the princess, something along the lines of that. It was on RTE 2 definitely. I'm re-reading this message and it sounds so ridiculous but if anyone could help me figure out the name of the show I'll be so grateful!!

The English dub was billed as "Radio Detectives" when it ran on TCC, not sure whether it was the same on RTÉ.
