You won't need to buy from touts, there are always plenty around if you do a lot of talking to people.

I know four people who had spares for last weekend and didn't get them sold before they went into the game. I doubt that the football final will be any different to the hurling one and to all the previous years.

A tout asked me for E100 on Sunday. I got in with a face value ticket - E70 from a genuine fan. Touts should be your last resort

Phil Ryans pub on the North Circular Road usually have genuine people selling for face value or less a couple of hours before the match.

Who ever your supporting go to a pub you know people will be in from your county, ask around, somebody ALWAYS no somebody. even ask the odd gaurd as people who can't get rid of the tickets will hand them to a gaurd instead of a tout.
You will need your walking shoes on though!!

Don't pay as much as a cent over the face value. At €70 they are a bargain when you think about what you are getting. The All-Ireland Football Final is the biggest annual sporting event in the country. For your €70 you get to see two matches and experience what is always a wonderful occasion. Even for an ordinary sporting event in other fields or other countries, you would not get the same value, never mind their biggest days of the year. Last Sunday was a major disappointment, but to be there on the day was certainly worth the price.

You'll always find genuine people with spares on the day. Already in the thread we've seen lots of places recommended. Every single year you always hear "Tickets are scarce this year", but they are no different than any other year. Head into Dublin on the morning of an All-Ireland Final, and you'll get a ticket somewhere at face value. The experience of being in Croke Park on an All-Ireland Final today is something special and well worth the effort and price of getting a ticket.
