I think I could have claimed tax credits for a previous year, is it too late now?

Ive never claimed rent allowance for any of the years I was in university (shouldnt be too hard getting the necessary receipts and pps number, I was on campus). Can I claim these credits this year?

AFAIK you can go back up to 5 years

You can only claim them for the period incurred, tax credits from rent paid 07 would only get relief against tax paid in 07
