I'm helping a friend sort out the skiing holiday for the coming winter and St. Johann has come up in the suggestions. Theres provisionally 4 lads going potentially 8 lads all beginners (only skied once each before).

Anyone been there before and know if it's good? Or could someone suggest somewhere they've been that was good fun?

Hi, We've been there for the past 3 years, its brilliant for beginners, would love to go back again but think its time to try something new..

We've found that everything is very handy, we have used the blue ski school which is excellent, the restaurants are fab & we always enjoy the nightlife, plenty of good beer & the Jaeger bombs are a great idea at the time.

Not sure what its like for single males, as our group of 10 are all couples, but like anywhere, you make your own fun.. Couldnt recommend St Johann highly enough, and its not far from Kitzbuhel or Stein Platte if you fancy going somewhere different for a day...
Anyway good luck with it, whatever you decide....

Thanks a lot for the info mate. Much appreciated.

However, since posting this it has been decided that it's going to be Méribel in Franch, hope it's up to the task.
